Irska je proli tjedan napravila veliki korak u izbacivanju fosilnih goriva. Parlament je proli tjedan prihvatio prijedlog zakona kojim se zabranjuju investicije u fosilna goriva od strane dravnog fonda vrijednog 8 milijardi eura. Kako bi ova mjera postala zakon mora pro?i kroz reviziju, ?ime bi Irska postala prva zemlja u svijetu koja bi u potpunosti eliminirala javna financiranja u fosilna goriva, te time dala novi poticaj obnovljivim izvorima energije u toj zemlji. ?ak i drave koje su se obvezale izbacivanju fosilnih goriva, kao Island i Norveka, to jo nisu uspjele posti?i.
