Siemens Wind Power je postavio najnoviju verziju svog priobalnog vjetroagregata s direktnim pogonom na lokaciji nacionalnog testnog centra Danske u Osterildu. Priobalni vjetroagregat je postavljen u skladu s planom, a radi se o modelu SWT-8.0-154,sa 154 metarskim rotorom, koji ima nominalnu snagu od 8 MW. Prototip je certificiran od strane DNV GL u sije?nju, a vjetroagregat je postavljen na ?eli?ni stup sa visinom osi od 120 metara.
